Well, what an adorable pooch! Some animals have all the luck. It seems that the newest addition to the Obama family is Bo Obama, a six month old Portuguese water dog who was actually a gift to the First family from Sen Edward Kennedy. It seems Sen Kennedy owns several of the same breed and found this pet for Sasha and Malia.
What a loving and appropriate gesture. And in keeping with the Obama tradition he is both "black and white" and gay friendly as demonstrated by his rainbow adornment.
Bo is also economy friendly as he has both contributed to the new worldwide popularity and public demand for this formerly obscure breed of dog; and has singlehandedly created a new media position called "puppy paparazzi" --cameramen and photographers whose primary job is to follow this dog around. Damn. Wish I had thought of that.
